Teams

1. Access the Dashboard

  • Navigate to your dashboard and select the Assistant you want to integrate with MS Teams.

2. Choose Microsoft Teams

  • In the Configure section, locate Other Channels and click the Add button on the MS Teams card.

3. Set Up Your Azure Bot

  • Go to the Azure Portal and create a new bot under Bot Services.

  • In Bot Services, select the bot you want to integrate with GuideLite.

  • Under Settings, open the Configuration tab.

  • Click Manage Password and generate a new Client Secret/App Password.

4. Enter Teams Integration Details

  • Navigate back to your MS Teams integration's page and enter the corresponding App ID and App Secret.

  • Click Save to generate the Webhook URL.

5. Finalize the Setup

  • Copy the generated Webhook URL and click Done.

  • Go back to your Azure Bot and paste the Webhook URL into the Messaging Endpoint field. Click on Apply to save the changes.

Upon saving the changes, your GuideLite Assistant will be connected to MS Teams.

Testing and Publishing the Integration

1. Install the Developer Portal:

  • Ensure the Developer Portal is available in your MS Teams.

2. Create a New App:

  • Click Create your first App.

3. Configure Permissions:

  • Go to the Permissions section under Configure.

  • Choose the necessary permissions under Chat/Meeting Permission.

  • Save your settings.

4. Test the Integration:

  • Click Preview in Teams to verify your connectivity.

  • Upon sending a query, your GuideLite Assistant will respond.
