Model

These settings define how the AI model responds during conversations and tasks within Shoplite. They are customizable based on your business use case.

  • Instruction: The instructions field lets you personalize your Assistant's personality and style.
  • Model: Choose various AI models based on your plan.
  • Temperature: Adjust the temperature settings to control the assistant's creativity in responses (low being normal, high being more creative).

Guidelines to follow:

  1. Persona

    • Description: Defines the specific knowledge or context the AI operates with.
    • Example Values: Shopify, E-commerce, Support Agent
    • Use Case: Select the persona that aligns with your platform or user interaction context. For instance, selecting "Shopify" will make the AI respond with knowledge and language appropriate for Shopify merchants.
  2. Tone of Conversation

    • Description: Controls the communication style of the AI responses.
    • Professional: Formal and respectful tone.
    • Casual: Friendly and relaxed language.
    • Empathetic: Supportive and understanding tone.
    • Use Case: Choose "Professional" for business or B2B communication, "Casual" for friendly customer service, or "Empathetic" for support-related interactions.
  3. Maximum Input Characters

    • Description: Sets the maximum number of characters a user can input in one message to the AI.
    • Example: 1000
    • Use Case: Helps control processing load and ensure quick responses. Suitable for limiting overly lengthy queries or uploads.
  4. Maximum Output Characters

    • Description: Sets the maximum number of characters the AI can use in a single response.
    • Example: 4000
    • Use Case: Longer limits are useful for detailed answers or documentation-style responses; lower limits help keep responses concise.
  5. Degree of Creativity

    • Description: Determines how flexible or imaginative the AI is allowed to be in its responses.
    • Strict: Factual and predictable.
    • Balanced: A mix of factual and creative.
    • Unrestrained: Allows out-of-the-box, highly creative and exploratory answers.
    • Tooltip Note: "Maximum creativity, allowing for the most diverse and unpredictable responses; may produce out-of-the-box ideas or unconventional outputs."
    • Use Case: Use "Strict" for compliance-heavy contexts (like legal or medical advice), "Balanced" for customer service, and "Unrestrained" for brainstorming or marketing tasks.
  6. Reset & Save Buttons

    • Reset: Reverts all model settings to the last saved state.
    • Save: Applies all configuration changes immediately for live use in the chatbot.
